CLARICE CLIFF, “RED TREES & HOUSE” also known in the early days as ‘RED ALPINE’, a rare and unusual lovely, first period, solid CONICAL handled, tea cup & saucer.

In super condition with no chips or cracks or repairs, the rich and rarer RED colour-way of this design is hard to find, especially on tea ware.

Just like the rare Red Gardenia conical cup and saucer, the saucer is banded in Orange and both cup and saucer carry the ‘Fantasque’ Newport Pottery back-stamp.

The paint is bold and bright, just a few paint scuffs to the reverse image on the cottage roof as pictured.

This rarity would look truly magnificent in any collection.
