CLARICE CLIFF, a wonderful, early “green, hand-painted back-stamp” ‘AUTUMN CROCUS’ “Athens” shape teapot, measuring approximately 9.5” handle to spout and approximately 7” tall.

Superbly decorated with huge flower-heads and ultra bold and so very bright and cheerful too, this is a truly magnificent example dating from 1926-1928.

In very clean condition, there’s just a pinhead, very small, under spout nick as pictured and a tiny fleck under the interior green rim too on the inside of the teapot, which is hard to spot but I have tried to pictured for you.

Neither detract at all from this absolute winner...it’s a truly beautiful example of pattern and shape and the excellence in the paintwork is simply mind blowing.
