CLARICE CLIFF, ‘ORANGE AUTUMN or BALLOON TREES’, a rare and seldom seen shape in this popular landscape design, a lovely early conical sugar shaker with the huge holes from which the sugar pours plus it has its original red top cork stopper, which is hard to find these days.

Fresh to the market from a private collection, this example is really well painted and is in very good overall condition. There has at some time long past been some professional restoration to a couple of the holes at the tip which I have tried to picture for you to see....hard to spot but only fair to mention. This is, of course, reflected in the asking price but in our opinion does not detract greatly from the beauty and rarity of this lovely piece.
