Beautifully decorated, the base is in excellent condition whilst the lid has had some professional and hard to spot over-painting to the banding, which doesn’t detract and is of course reflected in the asking price of this rare example.

Biscuit barrels don’t crop up too often and this is a lovely shape and pattern combination with that special double and full image front and back.
